Back in the dawn of blogs, there was a problem. It wasn’t only the fact that there is too much information for those writing the posts and pages. There are equally vast numbers of users who think they don’t have a say, even if they if they have something to bring to the party. Every blog I have ever edited has been targeted with spam by folk who really ought to set their sights a bit higher.
Many folk have wrestled with this problem for years. Tonight I think I may have come up with an alternative. This morning, the comment boxes will be taken down and replaced with a positive alternative. Ladies and gentlemen, meet urbanfoodlinks.
This idea is no more than as of today (Monday August 11, 2025) so please be (patient) gentle. If I miss something, I am sure folk will tell me. As people develop lines of thought, we’ll need to discuss fair access and earning a toehold in the project. And that’s before anyone unwraps copyright issues…
